Rising Authors Audiobooks is operated by Rise Media LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and audiobook production services, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, book title and manuscript/transcript files, narration preferences, and any details you submit through our checkout, refund form, or scheduling links.

Payment information: purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS certification.

Shipping information: if you request a microphone kit for the Your Voice program, we collect your mailing address solely to ship and track the equipment.

Voice and audio data: recordings you submit — including samples used to create an AI voice clone — are used only to produce your audiobook. We do not sell, license, or share your voice data with third parties, and your voice clone is used only for your project.

Automatic data: like most websites, we may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device, and pages visited to keep the site secure and improve performance.

To produce and deliver your audiobook, process your payment, and communicate with you about your order.

To send confirmation and next-step emails after checkout, and service updates you request.

To ship and manage microphone equipment for the Your Voice program.

To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations (for example, keeping sales records).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of payment security certification available.

Payment pages are served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.

We keep order records (product purchased, amount, date, and your contact details) so we can deliver your audiobook, honor our money-back guarantee, and meet accounting requirements.

Voice recordings you provide are used exclusively to create your audiobook and, where applicable, your AI voice clone.

Your voice clone belongs to your project. We will not use it to produce audio for any other customer or purpose without your written permission.

You may request deletion of your raw voice recordings and voice clone data at any time after your project is complete by emailing hello@rising-authors.com. Note that distributed audiobook files already delivered to retail platforms cannot be recalled from those platforms.

Refund requests are reviewed and processed back to your original payment method through Stripe.

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate: Stripe (payments), our audiobook production portal (project delivery and file upload), and standard website hosting. Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its service to us.

When your audiobook is distributed, retail platforms (such as Audible, Apple Books, Google Play, and Spotify) receive your audiobook files, cover art, and book metadata — not your personal contact or payment information.

Our site links to external websites (including rising-authors.com and scheduling services). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We keep order and contact records for as long as needed to deliver services, honor guarantees, and satisfy legal and tax requirements.

Project files (manuscripts, recordings) are retained while your project is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you need re-delivery or revisions.

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@rising-authors.com.

Depending on where you live (including California, the EU/UK, and other regions), you may have additional rights such as data portability and the right to object to certain processing. We honor these requests for all customers regardless of location.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be communicated by email to customers with active projects.
